Napier Day 1-4

This town is apparently the art deco capitol... They have tons of shops for you to buy and rent outfits from the 1920's, they have 1920's parties in this town and if you collect antiques this is the place to be. But other than that this town is quiet and beautiful, the water here is so blue and you can see dolphins on the horizon. But will keep you updated with Bryans job...Hope you enjoy the pictures.

The next ocean side we woke up to

The waves lately are so loud and big

The water here is so amazingly blue

So many different types of flowers

Cool fountain in the heart of Napier

Like I said lots of 1920's stores to rent or buy items...Bryan keeps finding things that he wants

Lots of old cars too

Instead of horse trolley to go through downtown you get an old car

8 billion opossums here and you can get $32 for one pelt...they hate these things

Just thought it was funny cause it was in a museum on how to kill opossums

Bryan loves finding these BMW's everywhere i think this was a 318i

Huge clouds over us

Always playing with fire ( especially out here cause it so green it take forever for anything to burn)

Our 2nd ocean camp site

Bryan beginning to his camp fire

and it just got larger from here

kept us seriously warm

Dork..he made a torch..and the camp fire got so big we started it at like 3:30 and it was still there at 8am the next morning burning

Our sunrise we woke up to

Napier port..they import and export alot of logs..the far side of the picture is all logs

Lots of stray cats around here

Far right side is 2x4's and logs everywhere

Cool house Bryan said it reminded him of the cartoon cat & dog

Our hostel in Napier

Ocean View from our hostel

Bryan found the only Mexican restaurant that we have come across in New Zealand and the mexicans there said they are the only ones within the next 6 cities

Well we will let you know how Bryans interview went when I find out.. He has a few more lining up on the south island which is good and hopefully soon we will go down there. But for now we are on the road again...till next time
