Kiwi Adventures: Day 4: To the left To the Left...

So on Friday, we picked up a car! a nissan primera! its not the fastest thing but I have been more than happy with its performance as we have done a little over 1500Km in about 5 days. and not driving it for one day.

That being said I love round-abouts Americans still can't drive and no one in the world can park evidently. here are fridays pics...

There are no words to describe the weirdness that is driving on the otherside...

Our First destination was a avocado grove that was open to the public.

just ontop of the hill looking toward the west.

our next stop was the beach on the way...

this is a normal set of signs

there are of alot of one way bridges...

These are the coolest signs I have ever seen, they mean "unrestricted" up to 100KPH

and they are always on roads like this. this means that if you can do 62MPH then go for it :-)

we finally reached the other beach it was the coolest. I have been wanting to go to this beach for a long time... this is also the beach we flew over when we arrived and there are pics of it on the first days blog.

there is a light house on that rock...

the sand was super soft here it would go to ankle deep

I was jumping around cause it was soo cool!

it was raining off in the distance super cool

then as quickly as it started it passed

We got lost getting to this last beach, Karekare.
This route

is supposed to take 45 min by car but with the unrestricted signs and some determination, we made it in 17 min :-) dare you to beat that!
